VHF DSC equipment for shore stations

Menu:

Unfortunately, Class D VHF DSC equipment is not suitable for shore stations, as it does not allow the operator to generate DSC distress alert acknowledge and relay messages.

These messages are mandatory for coast stations of all types - volunteer and professional.

A PC based VHF DSC system is the most cost effective solution for shore stations wishing to provide a DSC service.

These can range from very simple, locally controlled installations, to multi-user remote controlled networks.

These systems offer far more versatility than a ship's DSC radio, are simple to use and allow storage of an unlimited number of messages.

The operator interface can be tailored to your requirements - it can be very simple or as detailed as required.

The system can be combined with chart plotting software to provide an integrated communications and situational awareness system.
